Introductions

I've never been good at having just one hobby; Traveling, Running, Cooking, Fancy Restaurants, a Variety of things related to Science Fiction, etc. I started a blog a few years back but quickly realized that nearly no one would have interest in all these topics. In 2012 I'm going to separate out running from the food and traveling. The fake gourmand will be my cooking, restaurant and travel space and I'll figure out soon enough what to call my running blog. I suppose both blogs will contain traveling information since I travel mostly for running, but always try to enjoy the local cuisine while I'm there.

In the coming weeks and months, I'll post new recipes I've tried and if I liked them. I'll include restaurant reviews and even occasionally crossover with my quests to find the perfect foods for runners. I also hope to get requests from friends and family.
